I am always surprised.

I can't believe I did such a marvelously ridiculous painting.
Thanks goes to the members of the Kudzu Art Zone for inspiring me.
In art, anything is possible.

I struggle and then it flows.

Oh my goodness, I think I can pull this off.
I loved the idea of a plaid bus with a mustache and glasses.
I am laughing and painting now.

I sometimes am in a mess.

I left the meeting in all kinds of trouble and wondered how I am going to pull this off.  Since this was a linen canvas, and expensive, I knew I HAD to make it work.

I need some models.

During a March meeting of Kudzu Art Zone in Norcross, GA I needed some models for my demo.    The members suggested I paint an intersection.  Good!  I had never done this before and am now excited.  I asked, "What is at this intersection?"  The first lady said, "a bus stop."  I love it already and had her pose. Next came, a gas station, dog, cat, bus and convenience store.  Whew!
